I have PCOS with high insulin resistance and I need to lose between 50 and 70 pounds. Is there a science-backed diet or nutrition plan/lifestyle I should follow to lose weight and keep it off? My blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels are all normal but my weight bothers me and there is so much misinformation out there.

The recommendation for PCOS is a low Glycemic Load diet and maintaining a calorie deficit for weight loss. A primarily plant-based diet or Mediterranean diet can work well, depending on your preferences.
